The Reno Bighorns will host their first annual Bighorns Strike Out Childhood Cancer charity bowling tournament to benefit Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) at the National Bowling Stadium (300 N. Center St. Reno, NV 89501) on Sunday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This fun and engaging event will provide Bighorns fans with the opportunity to visit with Bighorns players, coaches, the Lady Bighorns Dance Team and mascot Bruno The Bighorn, while supporting NNCCF. All proceeds of the inaugural tournament will directly benefit NNCCF to help enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families by providing financial assistance and compassionate support programs while advocating for increased research funds and raising public awareness.
All participants will receive a Bighorns Strike out Childhood Cancer shirt, Bighorns swag, a catered lunch, and much more. First, second and third place will be awarded at the tournament. Those who would like to attend the event can register a team of four by visiting HERE.
“We could not do what we do for our kiddos and their families without the support of our generous northern Nevada community,” said NNCCF Director of Community Engagement, Lisa Shaffer. “Thank you to the Reno Bighorns for affording us this amazing opportunity.”
