The Reno Bighorns have a strong history of giving back to the community by contributing time, materials, resources and donations to organizations that share the team’s commitment to youth education, youth health and wellness and violence prevention. The Bighorns Front Office, our team, along with the team’s Community Relations Department and entire basketball family work to address community concerns and find ways for the Bighorns to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

During the 2017 NBA Development League Meetings held in mid-May, the Bighorns received the Community Appearance Award for their outstanding efforts in the northern Nevada community for the third season in a row. The Bighorns joined the community at 207 community events coming out on top out of 22 NBA D-League Teams.
